364. My hair....

There is this other little girl around 2.5 or 3 at Sofia's daycare who adores Sofia. She wants to hang out with her all day long, wants hugs before Sofia goes home, pushes her on the bikes and so on. She just adore her. Today when I picked up Sofia I said "you really like Sofia don't you?" to the little girl and she replied..."yes, because Sofia has such pretty hair":)
My child is 2.5 and people all ready wants to hang out with her because of her looks...this doesn't promise well for the future:)
It was really windy and humid today and when I picked her up in daycare she looked like this...isn't that the biggest hair you have ever seen on someone this young? I loooove her curls:)

363. I took some pictures today, but...

Maurice has been on my editing computer working all night so I haven't edited anything except for this picture really quick. I told you I would take some pictures today:) She's my little angle...most of the time.

Jaki and Joshua. I just have been so busy lately and I didn't take a picture today. I didn't even feel like finding one from a few days ago of Sofia that I needed to edit so I decided to do one more of Jaki and Joshua:) I hope that's ok. Hopefully to morrow I will take some more pictures.
Anyway, I think they are the cutest!!!

361. Not a blown sky....

I always blow the sky...always...but not on this picture:) It was pretty sunny and she's a little hazy and not super sharp, but I still post it as the picture for today. They can't all be perfect:)

360. Jaki and Joshua....

I got to take Jaki and Joshua's engagement pictures last night and it was a lot of fun!!! It was my first time taking them and I was nervous about the posing since I never do adults...pretty much only kids and sometimes a few family pictures. I have to say it went really well even though we didn't get the warm backlight photo's we were hoping for since I was overcast long before 5.30pm. Anyway, we still were able to get some really cute pictures.
I just posted this picture here because I was taking to friends last night about being worried about some shots since they were shot at iso 1600...here is one of the iso 1600 picture...no noiseware was used. I looove my camera:)

I am looking forward to our grass gets greener and hopefully she will let me take another picture then. I love all the light in her eyes when she looks up.

357. Flowers.....

These pictures are not that great and they were difficult to get....if she only was a little older this would be so much easier:) The tricky part was that if she wasn't positioned right the background would have houses and other stuff in it and I didn't want that. I have to admit there was chocolate involved while working on getting these pictures...maybe not the smartest decision, because non of the picture involving the chocolate was really that cute. It was worth a try though.

352. Emme's a little late birthday session.....

I got to hang out with Kristie and Emme yesterday for Emme's " a little late" 1 year session. We were supposed to do this last month, but things kept happening and we finally did it yesterday. I'm so glad we waited and it was so pretty outside yesterday. Emme's just as cute as she can be and I love her!!! This is my last share for today:) I took Sofia to the park this afternoon and I wanted to share how fast of a runner she's. She kept running full speed into my arms over and over again.

We went outside after we got home from work today and Sofia got to play with her dad. It was really sunny and hazy tonight so the picture isn't perfect. I still love seeing them together though....

I love sparkling water...especially with a splash of orange juice. There is nothing more springy than that.

346. Edited vs sooc.....

I get a lot of question about processing...do I do a lot of editing to my pictures. My answer is always....I try and do as little as possible because I'm not that good at post processing. I also do clean/minimal processing to most of my pictures, but there are some instances where I do more editing than others, but I try not to:) I also look for lighting situations that require little editing:)

I decided to give some examples of how a sooc picture (sooc=straight out of camera) very often looks like for me....I shoot raw and not jpeg so some editing is required. Here is some from today.

Here is my edited and cropped version...I like the lighting here, but obviously my child didn't want to get her picture taken and I don't shoot from above her very often because I tend to not like that angle as much:)

Here is my sooc picture. Her face is a little underexposed on purpose so her dress wouldn't have few blown spots, but I knew I could brighten her up very easily with just a little editing.

You know she's kind of a serious girl so here's just one more that proves that.

344. Ring around the roses....

This is one of Sofia's favorite things to play. She could do it all day long and luckily for her the other kids wanted to play with her. (Not a great picture, but I like it because it shows something she really loves to play).

These are from the other day and I just like them so I have to share. Look how serious she gets while she has them on and how funny she thinks it is when she has them off. She cracks me up:)

I just got my picture taken by Sofia...she got my face in 1 out of 15 pictures she took:)

341. Backlighting....

I love backlighting in late afternoon light. I took Sofia outside today and all she wants to do is to play with bubbles. She loooves to do it!!! It's also beginning to be green around here in certain places and I had to take advantage of that. Anyway here's some pictures from today.
(Oh, I know I missed several days and I did take some pictures, but it;s too late to post them now. I just got to do it another day:)
