299. High iso....

Tested out how high my iso could go before the picture got really bad. This is iso 1600 with no noiseware. Pretty grainy, but it's ok for family shots I think.

298. Sunglasses.....

This is one reason why I love 2 year old's....if you thought these were swimming goggles you are so wrong!!!! These are Sofia's sunglasses and they were truly needed when we took a walk right before the sun went all the way down:) She would not take them off at all.

New business website and blog

I am so excited to announce that my we website and blog is finally live!!!! I have been waiting for the past 3 weeks for this to happen and it's really nice that it now up there for everyone to see. Thank you to everyone that lent me their children while I was working on my portfolio!!! This would not have happened without you and I truly appreciate it.

I am looking for a limited number of newborn models (2 weeks or younger). I am offering free sessions, 3 free 5x7's or smaller and a free file for birth announcements if needed in return for permission to use their pictures on my website and blog. If you know anyone that might be interested in that I would love for you to bring them my way.

296. Mason....

I got to meet Mason for the first time today. He's 13 days and so cute. His mom and dad was sure that he would be a great sleeper for us and that we was going to get the pictures done in no time, but that didn't happen:) He was really tired but he was fighting to stay awake for hours. He also didn't want to lay on his stomach at all and woke up every time I moved him, but we still got some very cute shots of him.

This is my favorite shot from his session. He looks so peaceful in his dad's hands.

295. Hot Chocolate.....

I thought it was going to be a warmer day today, but it wasn't. We still could drink hot chocolate without feeling that we were going to be too hot.

294. Report card....

Since Sofia is in the 2 year old class room now she is old enough to get her fist report card. It was really cute and the teacher said she's doing really well. She's working on a lot of new stuff and she's getting smarter and smarter for each that goes by. Oh, she growing up so fast.

293. Lollipop.....

Sofia hardly ever get candy, but the few times she does she's in heaven. She will even sit down and eat it if you ask her and that doesn't happen often.

291. Outside.....

This picture was actually taken yesterday and it was our first day outside in a while. The weather was perfect and the light was really pretty.

Sofia even got to eat her snack outside. I tried a little different processing on this picture just because it's so brown and dead still.

Sofia and I played a lot with her cars today. She had to examine each one very closely before she was ready to bush it across the table.

288. Trouble....

I was listening to Sara Bareilles-Gravity while I was editing and I saw this serious face. It fit with the song so I picked it. If you haven't heard it you should. Maurice, Sofia and I love it.

I took this picture earlier while she was in trouble for trying to stand on her chair so she could reach stuff on the counter after I had told her to stop. Doesn't she look like she regretted what she did?

She's just so concentrated when she plays.

286. Slacker....

I'm not talking about her. I'm talking about me. I have not posted for the past 2 days. I did take about 10 pictures total, but my husband was working on the computer yesterday so I didn't have access to the right one and I just didn't feel like posting either. I'm so ready for spring and outside pictures!!!

I took this one while we were eating a snack. She was sitting still for about 3 seconds and this was the result.

Really cold weather that makes us stay inside all day long. I am missing being outside even if it's not nice and green. Anyway, I am not creative at all today and I am just posting a picture of Sofia doing nothing.

283. My little girl....

Is just growing up so fast. She has the best personality and I looove when I get some eye contact from here while I'm taking my picture. Her hair is a mess, but I just love how innocent she looks.

282. Lego....

Sofia and I have been playing a lot with her new lego since she got more for Christmas. She loves to build really tall towers and is actually ok when they break and fall down. These are just 2 of the lego people and I just likes their reflection on the floor.

281. Clementine.....

We have eaten so many of these lately. It's my favorite fruit.
Sofia learned to peel them today and she would not stop. She probably peeled 5 of them and kept feeding me until we ate them all. She loved it and she did a great job. No mess here.

280. Ice....

I'm posting this today because I felt like ice every time I had to go outside. It was 17 degrees when I went to work this morning (nesten -8 grader Celsius) and that's really cold for Alabama.

279. We still have.....

Some Christmas decorations up. We took out the Christmas tree yesterday, but we still have some decorations on the tables. I need to take them down soon. Christmas went so fast and it's like I'm not ready to be done with it yet.

278. Birthday.....

It's my birthday today. It's been a great day..no actually a great weekend. My little girl have been singing "happy dirtday" to me for a few days now until this morning when my husband seriously practiced with her while I was sleeping. She now sings "happy birthday" and it's just the cutest thing.
Maurice and I celebrated yesterday with champagne and we watched the movie Julia and Julie because I had wanted to see it for a while. After several glasses of champagne we decided that today we needed to make Julia Child's Beef Bourguignon. We went to the Target this morning and bought everything we needed including a dutch oven pot. After 4 hours of prepping and cooking the dish was done and it was the best (and most unhealthy) thing I ever have made...I told my husband that after tasking this he would want to marry Julia Child:)
Anyway, here's a cake for me.

277. Happiness....

Is when daddy swing me up in the air. It makes me laugh. He knows how to make me happy...at 2 it doesn't take that much....
I really like her smile on this one even tough there isn't any eye contact. I posted this on my 365 business blog that will be launched very soon. I'm excited!!!

276. Favorite Christmas gift.....

My new doll. I take good care of it most of the time. I do need to say that the doll have hit her head more than once...actually more than 100 times since she got it:) I don't think she's ready for baby sitting yet.

daddy loves to mess with me and make me laugh. It's his favorite hobby. (Not a great pictures, but I love the emotions)
