252. Running....

One from this weekend. We were waiting on daddy and Sofia got to do some running outside. She's becoming quite a fast runner.

251. Jake....

Here's baby Jake. He's 13 days old today and he's a big boy. He was 11 pounds 22.5 inches long at birth....yes 11 pounds!! Now he's even bigger and he was just so cute!!. He did not want to sleep much for us, but we managed to get about 10 minutes of in the end.
Thank you Brooke for letting me come over after having had company since he was born. I appreciate it!!

He was so strong and in the beginning he would not put his butt down and only keep his eyes closed for a second. Don't he look cute with his but all up in the air?

250. Sofia....

Sofia and I went outside for a little while this afternoon. It was the perfect day to be outside, not cold and not hot..just perfect. We explored on our street and Sofia got to collect rocks from the empty neighbor lot.

I love when she gives me eye contact when I'm using the camera. That doesn't happen often.

249. Kristine...

Here's Kristine. She was the first person I ever asked if I could take some pictures of her family when I fist realized how much I loved photography. She just had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out and she still look amazing.

248. Nicole....

I needed pictures for my blog today and it's amazing what you can get when you say...you own me and you have another friend (Kristine) who say she will make you look good:) I looooove close up face pictures!!!.

247. Bastian...

I got to meet Bastian today for a few pictures. He was so cute and so good. He didn't even run away from me like Sofia does:) Luckily there were still some fall colors left and that made for a nice backdrop.
He brought with him a few trains for me to look at.

246. One from the other day....

Backlighting. I like the warm light right before the sun goes down that shines through her hair.

245. Maggie....

I got to meet Maggie and her mom for the first time today. We scheduled this appointment 3 weeks ago so that Maggie would be good at sitting by herself which she was. Her mom had this super cute tutu she wanted her to wear and it was my first time photographing a baby with one. I have to say that I'm in love with those now. They are so cute for little girls.

We also went outside for a few pictures even if it only was 54 degrees today. Bridget had several cute hats she wanted to take pictures in. Here Maggie is in one of them.

244. Practicing....

Something we are not practicing enough. If we don't speed this up she will wear diapers forever.

243. 3 Dimensional...

I like this because it's 3 dimensional...Olivia stands out while the background doesn't.

242. 5 minutes of daylight....

Oh, I hate daylight savings time. We had 5 minutes of light before it became dark when we got home today...how am I going to get my picture each day for the next few months unless I use my speedlight on a daily basis?

241. My day.....

I became very sad when mamma said I was not allowed to push my bike in the street. She told me I had to stay on the side walk and I didn't want to. I even cried a little.
Then I decided that I was ok with having my bike on the side walk so I pushed it back.

And the day ended with me being happy.

I feel like it's forever ago since I took a picture of Sofia....but actually it was just on Thursday. In "normal" people's time that's very recently, but for me it feel so long ago:)

238. Sisters....

I'm editing this family's pictures tonight and I just thought that this picture was so cute so I decided to share it.

235. Michael, Lisa, Matthew and Sarah....

I also met Michael, Lisa, Matthew and Sarah today for almost the first time. The kids were so sweet and fun!! We went to a few locations as well to try out a few different things and they didn't complain at all. After the bad weather this past week we lost a lot of our great fall colors, but luckily we found a spot that had some.

237. Henry....

I got to see Henry again today and we were hoping for more smiles and luckily we got a few, but his parents and I have decided that he is camera shy. He is all smiles while we were not taken pictures, but as soon as we got the camera out he brought his serious face. Luckily he is soooo cute regardless if he's smiling or serious.

I actually took a picture of her today. I have been so busy with other people's pictures that I didn't have any time to take hers. I can tell you she hasn't been missing it.

235. Peyton....

I also got to meet Peyton for the first time today. His mom and I work together and I have seen pictures on her computer and heard several stories about him before. He's very handsome and smart. He took several pictures of me while we were there so maybe he's going to be into photography soon:)

He also brought Mr. Snuggles with him. I wonder if Mr. Snuggles had to get a bath when he got home?

234. Henry.....

I got to meet Henry today for the fist time. He was so adorable even though he didn't really wanted to give us a lot of smiles. He's was almost a pro at sitting up by himself already too. I think he was a little more interested in all the noises that was going on than us.

233. Shots I like....

I was working on editing some shots for Ava tonight and since it was pouring down rain I didn't take any pictures today so I am sharing one that I edited that I love. I'm always drawn to shots like this, always!!! Love the way the hair falls and the serious face, it makes this picture in my opinion. Works in both color and bw.

232. Libby and Pearson.......

I also met with Libby and Pearson on Sunday. They were my evening appointment. They are so cute and perfect as well. The family was up for anything and the dad even stopped watching the foorball games to help out. I'm so glad we met and I had a great time. Thank you so much.
I can't believe I got to see so many great families this weekend!!!

I had these Christmas balls and Pearson really liked his. Here he even took a look at his sister.

Libby told me she had a pink umbrella at home and next time I see her I will get to look at it. And her favorite color is also pink.
