273. A gift....

This is what I got today. She's becoming quite the artist.

272. Being bored...

I was bored while Sofia took a nap so a snapped a few pictures of me. Here I am without any makeup and retouching.

271. Sleeping....

After a long day filled with play I just couldn't stay awake any longer. I make sure I have my teddy bear in the bed with me.

Listen to music.... She loves to listen to music and dance. When we turn on the tv and there is music on she can't stop watching.

269. Sofia and Quin....

It's Christmas today and I hardly took any pictures...instead we filmed the whole morning. This is after we went to meet up with Maurice's side of the family. Anyway, Sofia did so good. She opened up all her gifts all the way before she started to unwrap another one. She loved it and it was just so cute to see.

268. One more from yesterday....

Sofia and I was so busy with our Christmas preparations that we didn't take a picture today so I have to post one from yesterday. This time in B&W. I like how there is a lot more shadowing on one side of her face. Maybe she should have been angled a little differently, but with a 2 year old I take what I get....

267. Faces....

After Sofia woke up from her nap today I asked if she wanted to sit on her chair so I could take some pictures of her and she said yes...SHE SAID YES...that has never happened before. She always say no and look away from the camera. maybe she will help me out more now:)
She was so cute and these are some of the faces she gave me. (She did sleep with her hat on so her hair is kind of funny:)

266. Ginger bread cookies....

Sofia and I made ginger bread cookies with some of our friends today since I'm off work for the holidays. We had a great time and the kids did such a great job decorating. They turned out perfect!!! I was surprised how well they did for being so young.
This was Sofia's first time to get to eat a lot of candy and she was in heaven. After a while she could not sit still any longer and had to run around the house. She was full of energy!!!

265. Christmas tree competition...

We had our Christmas tree competition yesterday and I had so much fun. There were 3 tree's in the completions and I already posted mine a few days ago so I'm not going to post the same picture of again.

Here's Kristine's tree. I think her tree photographed the best. It looks perfect in the picture!!! I love how the slow shutter speed makes it look like a painting.
Here is the kids with the tree (missing one of them). Obviously it's exposed for the tree and with a slow shutter speed the kids are not going to look good, but I still like it. Here's heather's tree. She is going for the old fashion color light "look" and the picture does not do her tree justice. It was much harder to get a good picture of her lights, but it was really really pretty. Here is mine again, but this time it's a different look since I already did one looking like the ones above.
Here's the trophy. I actually got it because of the clean look. I don't think I deserved to win it and when we discussed the tree's I think that we decided that if we could have combined elements from each tree we could have made one perfect one...Kristine's train, Heather's tree (it was really tall) and my decorations.

264. Me...

In a Christmas decoration. I tried to find the picture I took last year just like this but I couldn't find. I must have deleted it by accident. Next year I will take a new one and post them both.

263. Something completely random....

I couldn't come up with any ideas today so this is it. Could it be more random?

262. Christmas tree....

We decorated out Christmas tree today. Sofia is putting on the finishing touches. She was so excited when she got to help with the lights and the decorating and we only broke one ball while doing it...not bad. I think we are ready for the Christmas tree competition this Saturday.

261. Sick....

Sofia has not been feeling so good today. She has a really bad cold and has wanted to be held much more than normal. I though it was so cute when she took her bath and held her toy bear really really tight just like we hold her. (It's a really grainy picture...iso 800 with no noiseware, but I think it's still ok and it just sums up our day).

260. I've been....

Lazy for a couple of days now...no pictures were taken so I have to post one more from Thursday. Love golden afternoon light!!!

257. Brother and sister....

I was cropping pictures for someone today and this was one of the pictures that they chose. I think the connection is perfect in this shot and since I didn't take a picture today this is my post.

257. Family....

I got to see John, Suzanne and Jackson today to take a picture for their Christmas card. I don't think this will make their card so I am sharing it. I just love it. I am all about family stuff that is about having fun.

256. Watching football...

Sofia is already beginning to like sports. When the evening is here and the tv is not on she often points and says "watch football" so we will turn on the tv. She will sit in her daddy's lap and watch it for a long time.

255. Snow....?

Ok, we woke up to this this morning....I was not very impressed, but the rest of the town was. Have they never seen snow before? This is not snow...if you think this is snow you have no idea what snow is!!

254. Wine...

We had guests over for the football game this afternoon and evening and we had the best time. Great wine, food and company. It was the perfect night!! Thank you to everyone. This was one of several bottles we opened. I really liked the label so I had to try it and therefore I am including it for today's posts. (Unfortunately I still pick wine based on the label)

255. Innocent....

Just another bathing one.
I am not liking that it's getting dark so soon. It is too dark to take an outside picture by the time I get home from work and I'm already tired of only being able to take one inside:)
